About Us

The best poured pint this side of the Irish Sea, Gibney's London is your proper Irish boozer, set in the heart of Shoreditch.

The Gibney family have been in the pubs game for just shy of a century, originating in Malahide where the original Gibney's Pub has been serving hearty fare and cold pints since 1937. Now, three legends of the Irish restaurant and bar scene have combined their experience to bring a proper pub to London, complete with the same charm, atmosphere and signature Irish hospitality you can find over the sea.

Tony Gibney, Richard Corrigan (Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill, Corrigan's Mayfair, The Park Café, The Portrait Restaurant) and John Nugent (Kings Place Events, Sea Containers) share an ethos of traditional Irish hospitality, where customers become friends. Mixing the spirit of an Irish pub, the dining experience of a top restaurant and the welcome you’d expect from your local but in five-star surroundings, Gibney’s is a local melting pot for all – whether it’s dining, watching live music and sports, or throwing a party to remember.

Upstairs at Gibney's, find our older brother Daffodil Mulligan, where you can find an ever changing roster of inventive small plates, Irish meats cooked over the open flame, fresh seafood and more from Chef Richard Corrigan.
